Office: Dominical Office Per Annum - Antiphons (not doubled) and psalms, chapters, short responsories, and versicles, as in the Psalter for Sundays. Hymns at Mattins & Lauds as given for Sundays through the end of September. Ordinary melody and doxology for all hymns at the Hours until None inclusive.
At Mattins, 3 nocturns: 1 - Pss. 1,2,3,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13 & 14; 2 - Pss. 15-17; 3 - Pss. 18-20; 9 lessons and 8 responds from the proper, Te Deum.
At Lauds, Benedictus Antiphon Audistis and Collect proper, Suffrages of Our Lady, St. Joseph, Sts. Peter & Paul, (Patron), and for Peace.
At Prime, Pss. 53, 117, 118.1 & 118.2, Athanasian Creed, Dominical Preces, Short Lesson Dominus autem dirigat.
At Mass, after Terce, Gloria, 2nd. orations of Our Lady/Saints and 3rd. orations for the Pope or at the choice of the Celebrant, Credo, Preface of the Holy Trinity (Solemn Tone), Ite Missa est.
After None, the liturgical color changes to white for the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, Double I Class.
At Vespers, 5 antiphons (Doubled) proper for First Vespers Ipse praeibit, etc. w/ Pss. 109, 110, 111, 112, & 116; Chapter, Hymn, Versicle, Magnificat antiphon Ingresso , and Collect from the proper; Comm. of the 2nd. Vespers of the Sunday (Antiphon Si offers, Versicle Dirigatur, Collect of the Sunday), No Suffrages.
At Compline, Hymn Te lucis sung in the Solemn melody with normal doxology, No Preces, Salve Regina sung standing and in the Solemn Tone.
