Office: Ferial Office Per Annum - Antiphons (not doubled) and psalms, chapters, short responsories, and versicles, as in the Psalter for Tuesday. Ferial melody with regular doxology for all hymns at the Hours.

At Mattins, Invitatory Jubilemus Deo & Hymn Consors paterni as in the Psalter, 1 nocturn: Pss. 38, 39, 40, 41, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, & 51; 3 lessons and 3 responds from the occurring Scripture, No Te Deum.

At Lauds, Pss. 50, 42, 62 & 66, Canticle of Ezechiel, 148-150, Chapter, Hymn Ales diei nuntius & Versicle from the Psalter, Benedictus Antiphon Erexit nobis as in the Psalter, Collect of the preceding Sunday (VIII after Pent.), Suffrages of the Cross, Our Lady, St. Joseph, Sts. Peter & Paul, (Patron), and for Peace.

At Prime, Pss. 53, 24, 118.1 & 118.2, Dominical Preces, Short Lesson Dominus autem dirigat...

At Mass, after None, No Gloria, 2nd. orations of Our Lady and 3rd. orations at the choice of the Celebrant, No Credo, Common Preface (Ferial Tone), Benedicamus Domino. Optional Votive Mass of Our Lady of Mount Carmel - Gloria, No Comm. of the Feria, 2nd. & 3rd. orations at the choice of the Celebrant, No Credo, Preface of Our Lady (Et in veneratione; Ferial Tone), Ite Missa est.

After None, the liturgical color changes to white for St. Alexius, Confessor, for the following day; Simple.

At Vespers, Ferial antiphons w/ Pss. 121-125 from the Psalter; Chapter, Hymn Iste Confessor & Versicle from the Common of Confessors not Bishops, Magnificat Antiphon Similabo as in the same Common, Collect as in the Proper, Suffrages of Our Lady, St. Joseph, Sts. Peter & Paul, (Patron), and for Peace.

At Compline, Te lucis in the Ferial melody with the regular doxology, Preces, Salve Regina sung kneeling and in the Simple Tone.

Office: Festal Office from the Common of the B.V.M. or the Proper. All hymns of iambic dimeter through Compline today are sung in Our Lady's tone with the proper doxology of the Incarnation Gloria tibi, Domine, qui natus es de Virgine, etc.

At Mattins, Invitatory Sancta Maria & Hymn Quem terra from the Common, 3 nocturns - Antiphons (doubled) Benedicta etc. w/ Pss. 8, 18, 23, 44, 45, 86, & 95-97, and Versicles from the Common, Lessons & Responds - 1st. Nocturn from the Common (Proverbs 8), 2nd. Nocturn from the Proper, 3rd. Nocturn - Gospel excerpt from St. Luke 11 w/ Homily of St. Bede from the Common (in the 7th. Respond, substitute "solemnem Commemorationem" for "sanctam festivitatem"), Te Deum.

At Lauds, Antiphons Dum esset, etc. (doubled) from the Common w/ Pss. 92, 99, 62 & 66, Benedicite, and 148-150, Chapter, Hymn O Gloriosa Domina, & Versicle from the Common, Benedictus antiphon Caput tuum and Collect from the Proper, No Commemorations nor Suffrages.

At Prime, 1st. antiphon (not doubled) from Lauds w/ Pss. 53, 118.1, & 118.2, V. Qui natus es in the Short Respond, No Preces, Short Lesson In plateis from the Common.

At the Hours, Antiphons 2, 3, & 5, respectively, from Lauds with the respective divisiones of Ps. 118, Chapter, Short Respond, and Versicle from the Common, Collect proper.

At Mass (after Terce), Gloria, No Commemorations, Credo, Preface of Our Lady (Et in veneratione, Solemn Tone), Ite missa est.

At Vespers, Antiphons Dum esset, etc. (doubled) from the Common w/ Pss. 109, 112, 121, 126, & 147, Chapter, Hymn Ave maris stella, & Versicle from the Common, Magnificat antiphon Gloria Libani and Collect from the Proper, Comm. of the following feast of St. Alexius, Confessor (Antiphon Similabo, Versicle Amavit, Collect proper), No Suffrages.

At Compline, no Preces, Salve Regina sung in the simple tone and kneeling.

After Compline, the liturgical color remains white for the following feast of St. Alexius, Confessor; Simple.
