* The CTO adopting some of the sensible changes of the Pius X era which mimic the spirit of Pius V's reforms removes St. Joachim as a fixed feast on a Sunday (prior to 1911, his feast was observed on the Sunday within the Octave of Assumption) and places it on the fixed calendar date of 16 August as has been the case following Divino Afflatu, but with the lower rank of semidouble so as not to supersede a Sunday in order to balance out the very festal cycle in which we currently find ourselves. By doing so, however, the proper lessons (even of the first nocturne) at Mattins assigned to this day within the Octave necessarily disappear, so we made a judgment call to use the occurring Scripture at the first nocturne today as would be the usual case for a semidouble feast.
