At Mattins, Invitatory Regem Apostolorum & Hymn Aeterna Christi munera from the Common, 3 nocturnes: antiphons (doubled) from the Common w/ Pss. 18, 33, 44, 46, 60, 63, 74, 96, & 98; 1st. nocturne - lessons and responds from the Common, 2nd. & 3rd. nocturnes - lessons (lesson 8 = 8&9 combined) from the Proper w/ responds from the Common, 9th. lesson = three lessons of Ember Saturday combined into one, Te Deum.

At Lauds, Antiphons Hoc est praeceptum meum, etc. (doubled) from the Common w/ Pss. 92, 99, 62 & 66, Benedicite, and 148-150, Chapter and Hymn Exsultet from the Common, Versicle and Benedictus Antiphon Vos qui reliquistis from the Common, Collect from the Proper, Commemoration of Ember Saturday (Antiphon Illumina and Versicle Repleti from the Psalter, Collect from the Proper), No Suffrages.

At Prime, first antiphon from Lauds w/ Pss. 53, 118.1 & 118.2, No Preces, Short Lesson Ibant Apostoli from the Proper.

At Mass, after Terce, Gloria, Commemoration of the Ember Day, Credo, Preface of the Apostles (Solemn Tone), Ite Missa est, Proper Last Gospel of Ember Saturday.

Where conceded, the Mass of Ember Saturday may be celebrated after None in violet, five lessons after the Kyrie, No Gloria, No Commemorations, No Credo, Common Preface (Ferial Tone), Benedicamus Domino. In such places, the Ember Day is not commemorated at the earlier Mass of St. Matthew.

At 2nd. Vespers, Antiphons Juravit, etc. (doubled) from the Proper w/ Pss. 109, 112, 115, 125, & 138; Chapter & Hymn Exsultet, Versicle, and Magnificat Antiphon Estote fortes from the Common, Collect from the Proper, Commemoration of the following 18th. Sunday after Pentecost (Saturday before the 4th. Sunday of September = Antiphon Adonai, Versicle Vespertina, Collect of the Sunday), No Suffrages.

At Compline, No Preces, Salve Regina sung standing and in the Solemn Tone.

After Compline, the liturgical color changes to green for the following 18th. Sunday after Pentecost; Semidouble.
