At Lauds, Antiphons Nativitas gloriosae, etc. (doubled) from the Proper w/ Pss. 92, 99, 62 & 66, Benedicite, and 148-150, Chapter and Hymn O gloriosa Domina from the Common, Versicle from the Proper, Benedictus Antiphon Nativitatem hodiernam as in the Proper, Collect from the Proper, Commemorations of the Sunday (Antiphon Magister Versicle Dominus regnavit, and Collect of the Sunday) and St. Nicomedes, Martyr (Antiphon Qui odit, Versicle Justus ut palma, Collect from the Proper), No Suffrages.

At Mass, after Terce, Gloria, Commemorations of the Sunday and of St. Nicomedes, Credo, Preface of the B.V.M. (Et te in Nativitate, Solemn Tone), Ite Missa est, Proper Last Gospel of the Sunday.

At 2nd. Vespers, Antiphons Nativitas gloriosae, etc. (doubled) from the Proper w/ Pss. 109, 112, 121, 126, & 147; Chapter & Hymn Ave maris stella from the Common Versicle from the Proper, Magnificat Antiphon Nativitas tua and Collect from the Proper, Commemorations of the following Ss. Cornelius & Cyprian, Martyrs (Antiphon Istorum, Versicle Laetamini, and Collect from the Proper), of the Sunday (Antiphon Quid vobis, Versicle Dirigatur, and Collect of the Sunday), and of Ss. At Compline, No Preces, Salve Regina sung standing and in the Solemn Tone.

After Compline, the liturgical color changes to red for Ss. Cornelius & Cyprian, Semidouble, the following day.

* In some religious congregations and other locales, the feast of the Seven Sorrows of the B.V.M., Double Major, with Commemorations of the Sunday and St. Nicomedes but without Commemoration of the Octave Day. The hymns at the Hours are sung in the melody of Passiontide with the proper doxology Gloria tibi, Domine, qui passus es pro servulis, etc.The Mass and Office are as in the liturgical books of 1910 for 15 September, not those as given for the Friday in Passion Week.
