Vigil of All Saints, Simple, VioletOffice: Ferial Office per Annum; Ferial melody and normal doxology for all hymns at the Hours until None inclusive. The Preces and Collects are sung kneeling through None inclusive, likewise for the Collects and Postcommunion prayers at Mass.
At Mattins, Invitatory Dominum qui fecit nos and Hymn Nox atra from the Psalter, 1 nocturn: Pss. 68-79; 3 lessons from the Proper with 3 responds from the occurring Scripture (Thursday, Week V October), No Te Deum.
At Lauds, Pss. 50, 91, 62 & 66, Canticle of Moses (Exodus), 148-150, Chapter, Hymn Lux ecce, Versicle, and Benedictus Antiphon In sanctitate from the Psalter, Ferial Preces, Collect of the Vigil proper; Suffrages of the Cross, Our Lady, St. Joseph, Sts. Peter & Paul, (Patron), and for Peace.
At Prime, Pss. 53, 22, 118.1 & 118.2, Ferial Preces, Short Lesson Dominus autem dirigat.
At the Hours, Ferial Preces.
At Mass (after None), No Gloria, 2nd. orations of Our Lady/All Saints, 3rd. orations at the choice of the Celebrant, No Credo, Common Preface (Ferial Tone), Benedicamus Domino.
After None, the liturgical color changes to white for the feast of All Saints; Double I Class.
At Vespers, Antiphons Vidi turbam magnam, etc. (doubled) w/ Pss. 109, 110, 111, 112, & 116 from the Proper; Chapter, Hymn Christe, Redemptor, & Versicle from the Proper, Magnificat Antiphon Angeli from the Proper; Collect from the Proper, No Commemorations or Suffrages.
At Compline, Te lucis sung in the solemn melody with the regular doxology, No Preces, Salve Regina sung kneeling and in the Solemn Tone.
