  1. What is the reason not to celebrate St Bruno, founder of the Carthusian order? And where would one find the propers for Ss Sergius and companions? All breviaries I could find have either St Mark with commemoration of Ss Sergius and Companions or commemorate St Mark and Ss Sergius etc. on the feast day of St Birgitta.

  2. We left S. Bruno off the univesal kalendar for two reasons: 1. Generally speaking, we keep the addition of feasts post-1570 to a minimum and 2. While limit the deference given to religious order founders to the major orders (e.g. Franciscans, Dominicans, Benedictines) and not to the "lesser" or "sub-order" groups from the main orders; we consider these belonging on particular kalendars only.

I see the problem you mentioned with Ss. Sergius, etc. as my 1854 BR also does not contain anything for them beyond a collect. Since these martyrs were originally celebrated as a commemoration under S. Mark on 7 October, we will place them back there as a second commemoration after S. Mark on the feast of the Holy Rosary, which we strongly believe in affixing to a set date rather than perpetually to a Sunday.
