N.B. All Suffragia and Preces are omitted this week due to the occurring octaves. Commemorations of days within these octaves at Vespers, Lauds, and Mass are omitted when the Office is of a Duplex I or II Classis feast.

Sunday, 28 June - V Sunday after Pentecost, Semiduplex, Green. Comms. of S. Leo II, PC, and the Octave of S. John the Baptist. Dominical Office per Annum. At Mattins, Te Deum. At Lauds, Comms. of S. Leo II and the Octave. At Prime, Pss. 53, 118.1, 118.2, & Quicumque as usual but no Preces. At Mass (after Terce), Gloria, Comms. of S. Leo II and the Octave, Credo, Preface of the Trinity. Vespers of the following day (change to red), Comm. of the Sunday only. From now until Compline tomorrow night, the hymns at the Hours are sung in the Solemn melodies with the Per Annum doxologies.

Monday, 29 June - Ss. Peter & Paul, AA, Duplex I Classis w/ Octave, Red. Office from the Common of Apostles and the Proper. At Mattins, Te Deum. At Lauds, no Comms. At Mass (after Terce). Gloria, no Comms, Credo, Preface of the Apostles. II Vespers of the feast, no Comms.

Tuesday, 30 June - Commemoration of S. Paul, A, Duplex Majus, Red. Comms. of S. Peter and the Octave of S. John the Baptist. Office from the Common of Apostles and the Proper. At Mattins, Te Deum. At Lauds, Comms. of S. Peter & the Octave. At Mass (after Terce), Gloria, Comms. of S. Peter & the Octave, Credo, Preface of the Apostles. Vespers of the following day (change to white), Comm. of the preceding and the Octave of Ss. Peter & Paul.

Wednesday, 1 July* - Octave Day of the Nativity of S. John the Baptist, Precursor of Our Lord, Duplex Majus, White. Comm. of the Octave of Ss. Peter & Paul. Office and Mass as on the feast except for the proper lessons at Mattins. At Lauds and Mass, Comm. of the Octave of Ss. Peter & Paul. At Mass, Credo and Preface of the Apostles by reason of the Apostle's Octave. Vespers of the following day, Comm. of the preceding Octave Day of S. John only. From now until Compline tomorrow night, the hymns at the Hours are sung in the melody of the BVM with the proper doxology of the Incarnation.

Thursday, 2 July - Visitation of the BVM, Duplex II Classis, White. Office from the Common of the BVM and the Proper. At Mattins, Te Deum, At Lauds, no Comms. At Mass, Gloria, no Comms., Credo, Preface of the BVM (Et te in Visitatione). II Vespers of the feast, Comm. of the following S. Irenaeus only.

Friday, 3 July - S. Irenaeus, BM, Semiduplex, Red. Comm. of the Octave of Ss. Peter & Paul. Office from the Common of One Martyr and the Proper. At Mattins, Te Deum. At Lauds, Comm. of the Octave. At Mass (after Terce), Gloria, Comm. of the Octave, Credo, Preface of the Apostles. II Vespers of the feast, Comm. of the following day within the Octave.

Saturday, 4 July - Within the Octave of Ss. Peter & Paul, Semiduplex, Red.  Office from the Common of Apostles and the Proper (but with Collect of the feast). At Mass (Proper Mass for days within the Octave), Gloria, 2nd. orations of Our Lady/All Saints, Credo, Preface of the Apostles. At Vespers, antiphons and psalms for the Octave from the Common of Apostles (II Vespers); from the Chapter of the following Sunday (remains red by reason of the Octave), Comm. of the Octave.

  2. Yes, I know; I inferred this by saying "except for what it is the Proper". I updated the entry for Saturday to be more explicit.
