    One question I have about a particular suffrage. I have gotten everything down except for the Patron suffrage. For suffrage regarding the Patron, what would the prayer entail for this one? I live within the Archdiocese of Los Angeles if that helps.

  2. VPL, I am not as well versed in the rules of the Patron Suffrage, but my first principle would be to base the suffrage on one's own parish. If lacking, then one's diocese. An order would, I think, choose its own founder/patron. In my own personal case, because my parish is under a title of Our Lady, I skip the Patron Suffrage as it would be redundant, though in some past instances, I added S. John the Evangelist based on my own namesake.
